The weekend away is based at Merna Mora Station situated on picturesque Moralana Creek. Take the Leigh Creek road out of Hawker and travel 43 km to the turnoff to the west which is almost directly opposite the Moralana Gorge Road. On the road into the station accomodation you will have good views of the west end of Wilpena Pound.

Due to the remote location you will need to bring sufficient supplies to cover your needs for Friday, Saturday and Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner as the shopping in the area is very scarce and opening time are unpredictable.
 
The plan for meals is as follows:
Friday night eat in or on the way then party.
Saturday, Lunch at Parachilna Hotel at 12 noon. BBQ Dinner at the Station, then party.
Sunday , Lunch, make and take it or find something on your travels, then another BBQ dinner at the Station, then more partying.

IMPORTANT: Over the years the group has exhausted stocks of Vintage Port therefore the challenge this year will be for Tawny Port only which will reduce the volume of port to be drunk on the night but if you wish to share any other port, vintage or keg feel free to bring it along.
